Sorcery Social Club is a gaming club focused on Sorcery. It started in the Baltimore, Maryland area and is growing from there.

One thing we love about the game of Sorcery is the art, and this event is our way to try and highlight that, while giving players of all levels of experience a fun and enjoyable time.

We hope that everyone who is interested in the game, the art or just the artists can come and enjoy that aspect of the event and maybe meet some new friends along the way!

Sorcery Fans! This your chance to witness the incredibly talented Alan Pollack at work live and in person at the Spring Sorcery Social!

Alan will be live painting one of his limited edition artist proof cards, to be sold the next day at the event!

In addition to his beautiful work creating the art we all know and love for Sorcery Contested Realm Alan has worked for many of the industries gaming companies, including Wizards of the Coast and Blizzard Entertainment, and has graced the covers of most of the leading book publishers including Harper/Collins, Daw Books, Del-Rey, Baen Books, Tor Books, ROC and the Science Fiction Book Club.

Old-school Magic the Gathering fans will recognize his name from creating the iconic art for cards like Moat and Swords to Plowshares while Sorcery fans have seen and played with his art on cards such as Felbog Frog Men and Pact with the Devil.

If you have an appreciation for the beautiful art of Sorcery Contested Realm you will not want to miss this rare chance to see this amazing artist at work live and in person.

Jeff has been illustrating professionally for more than three decades, drawing the monsters that got him in trouble in Jr. high, and painting landscapes he visits in his dreams.

Come chat and discuss art with renowned fantasy and horror artist Drew Tucker.

Most will know Drew from his long time association with Magic the Gathering, including vintage cards like City in a Bottle and Dust to Dust, along with recent pieces for Cavern of Souls and Arcane Signet.

Most importantly to Sorcery fans, Drew painted a few deck staples including Common Sense, Courtesan Thais, and Pathfinder, not to mention a host of additional cards.

Come hang out with our very own Sorcery Community artist Steve Ozminkowski aka @CenterPoint and learn step by step techniques on how you can make your own alters. In this workshop you'll learn how to bring your own twist & style to existing pieces and ask the artist direct questions about how to improve or get started with your own alter making practice.

Steve was the artist responsible for the art used for the Seattle Sorcery Convention, and for the Chicago Courtesan Cup Qualifier.
